From the indie electrodance collective Menozeta, here comes a story of unknown terror hiding into your dreams!
“…and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
The story tells that in 1937 the Cole family was massacred by the inhabitants of their own village and their youngest son Robert Cole Jr. was tortured and burned alive: he was accused of being a descendant of the devil because of the manifest signs of upper oblique palsy of the left eye, a still unknown neuropathy at that time which causes a double vision. This pathology is known as Diplopia.
In the 1970s, all the families descending from the villagers were killed on the West Coast by a serial killer and the press began to tell the legend that Bobby Cole was back for revenge.
Murders mysteriously stopped in 1982 but Bobby’s body was never found.
Today Bobby Cole lives on… just in your dreams?
On the occasion of the release of their first soundtrack, Menozeta pay an affectionate tribute to the great directors of the 70s and 80s.
The short film “Diplopia” will be available on the occasion of the opening night of the 74th Venice Film Festival on the website www.menozeta.com and on the Menozeta YouTube Channel
